We recently completed a major remodel of our home with H&H in 2023, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. While it wasn’t the cheapest option, the quality and attention to detail made it well worth the investment.

From the outset, H&H provided invaluable guidance on various specific issues, particularly regarding ADA compliance. They transformed our space beautifully: we now have a convenient new laundry room, a spacious hallway, and an expansive walk-in closet with built-in shelves where a previously underutilized room existed. The master bathroom has also been enlarged and designed to be ADA compliant, and it looks stunning.

One aspect we truly appreciated was their willingness to reuse existing cabinets, sinks, and toilets to help manage costs. Their team, (highlighting Ryan, Tony and Pedro), including skilled carpenters, painters, and designers was exceptional. We especially want to highlight Jason Williams, the production manager, who went above and beyond, adding thoughtful touches that exceeded our expectations. He was always approachable and patient, even with a busy schedule and we had many fun conversations with him.

Pat Tierney, the project manager, also deserves recognition. He is not only a diligent worker but also a genuinely kind person who showed great understanding and compassion towards a family member with disabilities.

Though there were some expected production delays, the team was consistently punctual and professional. Overall, we love our remodeled home and would choose H&H again without hesitation. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a remodel!

We worked with H&H on an attic remodel pop-top two years ago. I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who has now lived in the home H&H helped us create — and we love it. Our home presented some significant design challenges. H&H's architect came up with innovative solutions that created lovely and practical living spaces in what had been an unfinished attic. They helped us through the landmarks process and found ways to minimize the additional costs that come with living in a historic district. The quality of the workmanship has held up, and they have been responsive to minor warranty and follow-up issues.

Any major remodel is going to have some hiccups, especially these days with labor and material shortages, and the process will be stressful. That's going to be true no matter who you hire. In our experience, H&H worked hard to minimize disruptions and find alternatives when issues arose.

We're overall very happy with our H&H remodel.

Even when unexpected structural issues came up, they did a great job of working with us to resolve in a fair and expedient manner.

I have had a wonderful experience with H&H Builders. In an era where construction delays are rampant and everyone laughed when I said my total house remodel would start in September and end in late December, everyone I told laughed and wished me good luck. The ONLY delay I have had was a water leak at the street that delayed an inspection by 3 days (the repair was that very day but the inspector couldn't reschedule). The work is not complete but all materials are now on-site and moving along as expected. I could not be happier about the progress AND QUALITY of the work.

H & H did a full gut and kitchen remodel. They gave me a construction schedule and they met that schedule! Daily communication was great, and they supported that with onsite weekly progress meeting to review the work being done and next steps. The work is first-rate, and everyone on site was courteous and always did daily clean-up before they left the job. I would use them again with no hesitation. They did a great job with our kitchen!
