Where do I begin? I had a pistol I wanted parts ceracoated, so I emailed them and took it there. They said it would be a few weeks while they waited for a few more parts to paint. They told me this before I took my parts in, and I get it, doesn't make sense to do a single project here and there. Thats where it goes down hill. For one when I dropped off my parts I also had a slide I wanted to see if they could touch up as it had gotten some nicks and wear on the cerakote. So 2 weeks go by, no word. I email asking whats up. Silence. About a week after I emailed they finally reply back stating they're waiting on paint, with the pandemic stuff is taking long. Ok, cool, makes sense. Couple more weeks, another email followed by silence for days, then they emailed, should be ready in a week or so. Finally get a call, parts are ready. I go up to pick them up and my slide which was only there as a touch up was painted the same color as the rest of the parts (parts were a grey and the slide was a bright blue) I said "wait, that was supposed to only be a touch up" pulled out my copy of the ticket where it showed that. They admitted their mistake and said they'd fix. So I took my parts sans my slide and wait. And wait. And wait. Finally I emailed and asked if I would be getting my slide back at some point. They replied that it was ready and they'd tried to call me last week and leave a voice mail, but my voice mail was full... when I have no missed calls or new Voice Messages. I pick my slide up, the only charged me for the original work/parts and not to fix their mistake. So all is well... or so I thought. See when I dropped my slide off originally I had sights installed, when they coated it by mistake they removed the sights and I picked them up with the rest of the parts. I go to reassemble the gun and notice brass maring on the side of my sights and I realize they didn't use a sight pusher to remove them... they, a gunsmith, used a brass punch to beat my sights out of my slide. I have a sight pusher, why does the gunsmith not? So that, combined with all the lack of communication, which IMO lead to their mistake of painting something that wasn't supposed to be painted, is leading me to leave this negitive review. Which is a shame, the cerakote turned out wonderful, just the lack of communication and beating my sights out with a brass punch seems so unprofessional.

Dropped gun off six (6) months ago. Called a couple of times and was told they were waiting on tool from another gun shoppe to take apart, which seems strange to me if you are a gunsmith. Decided to pick up rifle today without notification if ready or not. Get there, turret knob missing (was there when dropped off) and employee said hadn’t been touched. Left with rifle now missing parts. Was forced to give a star to post review when all they deserve is

Great place to go for any gun needs, can even try any gun out while there before you buy!

As to the the neighbor complaint, I have been to the range there many times, its it 2 football fields away from the nearest house and on a large property in the country. Last I checked, shooting on your property in the country is perfectly legal and putting a 1 star review on someone's buisness and livelihood over it is petty and low. Just my 2 cents.
