Stopped in here today, and what a blessing! Staff was friendly and professional, listened to my needs, and they were the ONLY tire shop on Galloway from Town East and Galloway all the way through Davis and Galloway that even had a used 255 70R 16 tire! And, yes, I stopped at EVERY shop in between! Price was exceptionally fair, and I was in and out in 15 minutes! Kudos to you guys, you're doing it right!

Horrible experience. Yeah their prices are fair but at what cost!? I went to go get a tire replaced and a young man ruined and stripped 3 of my wheel studs. He never mentioned anything about him ruining it, he just left it as it is. If you want to get your tire fixed, I suggest you supervise their work. Because obviously nobody is

I have patronized H&J company for several years; however, due to my recent experience, I will NEVER patronize them again. Please pay attention to all of your transactions!

On Wednesday August 14, 2024 I went to H&J Tire company to purchase a tire. After the tire was placed on the car I went in and swiped my debit card to pay $159.12, the informed total cost. I received a text alert on my phone from my bank that the transaction for $159.12 went through. I was informed by the guy who processed the payment that the charge did not go through. I showed him the processed payment on my end and even pulled up my bank account and showed him where the transaction had gone through. After approximately 5 minutes he informed me he would need to call the person who takes care of processing payments so she could look at the machine and the transaction. She(Nadia) came over checked their machine and informed me the payment did not process on their side. She informed me that I needed to look in my account and I should see a debit and then a credit for the same amount; I did, and there was no credit only a debit for $159.12. My bank was called and after a few minutes of conversation between Nadia, myself and the bank representative, it was determined that I would need to wait a couple days to see if the payment would move from pending status and hard post to the account. I was adamantly informed by H&J the payment most likely drop off. I was then informed that I could just purchase another tire and wait for that payment to drop off. Of course I was not going to purchase another tire and potentially lose another $159.12. So at this point I asked them to take the new tire off of my vehicle and replace it with my old tire. They even had the nerve to have an attitude stating “ well, we can’t just let you leave with our product” and I quickly informed them I never asked for a free product. I came in for a service and I paid for a service so clearly I wasn’t there to obtain a free tire!!!

On Friday August 16, 2024 the payment of $159.12 moved from pending status to officially posting and debited from my account. At this point, I was informed by my bank to go ahead and file a dispute since the payment had already posted. I called and spoke with Nadia at 8:19 am on the same day to inform her that the payment posted still adamant that the payment didn’t post she stated she will call the merchant to see what she could find out and get back with me. I was called back at 2:52pm and informed the payment had not posted. I informed her I had filed a dispute and she stated to do what I needed to do regarding a dispute; they would not fight it since the payment was showing on their side. On Tuesday, August 27, 2024 my bank informed me since they are showing the payment processed and H&J had received payment my provisional credit would be retracted. I was told to contact H& J to obtain something in writing stating the payment never went through on their end so this can be escalated. I went to H& J spoke w/someone who does the transactions on the “ back end”. All of a sudden, now I’m being told that the transaction did go through; however, they voided it out, but my bank did not complete(address) the voided transaction. It was stated that because a dispute was initiated and my bank issued a provisional credit to my account, the 2 counteracted each other; consequently the money in dispute is sitting in a “virtual holding”, but they would re-void the processed payment. Prior to today, “the transaction never went through” however, all of a sudden a voided transaction was located and identified. The entire time my bank was being blamed and today after the transaction was identified, it was then suggested that this was my fault bc I filed a dispute..Seriously Well, for starters that is nonsense because who in their right mind would not file a dispute given the scenario. And I was encouraged to do what I needed to do regarding filing a dispute and H&J would not fight the dispute. Victim blaming at its finest!!!

I didn't take pictures when I was there and respect for the older gentleman running the place but when I tell you if you got a flat tire or you need to get a tire change new or used this is the place to go I wasn't a bind my tire went flat I came here and got a used tire for 40 bucks changed and put on quick and fast service I was in and out in less than 10 minutes

I was promised a lower price on tires and was charge 300.00 over and the lady refuse to refund me because I just realize the error. If it is an error it should not matter, time frame. The company word is suppose to matter.
