I hired MAG Construction to build a patio cover on my newly rebuilt Paradise home post Camp Fire. I had a deck built by another contractor, but he did not offer options for a patio cover that I was happy with. I have also had not-so-great experiences with some other contractors (not the deck builder) over the last 23 months since the fire in getting things done. They would not return calls, not show up as promised when they did schedule an appointment and there were frequent delays in getting the work completed. This was not the case with MAG Construction. They were very responsive. Christina got in touch with me promptly Mike came out within a day to talk to me about what I wanted built. He was able to build the cover the way I wanted it. He gave me a very reasonable bid, which I accepted. He obtained the required permits and arrived to start the job when promised and completed it quickly. He even went to Sacramento to pick up roofing shingles that would match the ones that were on the house. I am very pleased with their work and would hire them again if I need any additional contract work done.
