We recently had the sincere pleasure of Miguel, his father, and crew at our home, and I truly mean pleasure, which for construction isn’t always the experience!

As part of planning a large upgrade to our home in Sacramento we had several contractors out to discuss the project. We had some significant water damage to rafters, studs, and a skylight in our garage, courtesy of a rogue tree limb during a windstorm, among other wear and tear. Miguel was responsive, punctual, and thorough in his inspection and estimate, answered all of our questions, provided input on ideas we had for the work, and extremely knowledgeable on the products and materials. From a customer perspective, Miguel was extremely professional and credible, but more importantly, he is genuinely a trustworthy, honest, and personable individual. The same goes for his entire crew, especially Dad.

Miguel and his team made the estimate and decision process easy for us. In addition to his positive impression to begin with, the cost of the work was extremely reasonable and his estimate was detailed and thorough enough to understand on paper what work was going to be needed and what would be included.

When we began, Miguel worked with our other contractors to coordinate the A/C removal and replacement, and a reschedule due to some unanticipated “left over roofing” apparently from a previous remodel. He and his crew arrived timely every day, which was extremely appreciated since I work from home. Through the entire almost two-week job, the crew was courteous, polite, and pleasant. Miguel worked with us through a SMUD power issue which impacted their ability to run the equipment needed, patient with the setback, and understanding, including making the necessary adjustments to finish despite the issue being out of his control.

I cannot speak highly enough of Miguel and his team. Our experience was absolutely amazing and the work is impeccable. Thank you to Miguel and the entire MAG Roofing family for treating us and our home like your own and the amazing work! We are absolutely customers for life.

Thank you to Miguel, his father, and his team. They did an excellent job with the torch roofing on our San Francisco apartment. They were on top of permitting, finished within 3 days, very reasonably priced, and even came back to do the cap sheet at no additional cost. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their roof done.

If you are looking for an honest, hardworking “go the extra mile” roofing company, look no farther than MAG Roofing. MAG Roofing worked endlessly with us from start to finish on our roof project pinpointing the leaks on both of our roofs (the flat roof and the shingled roof) to help us pick the perfect products for our issues. The leaks had affected the inside of our home as well so it was very stressful.
They took on the flat roof first since this roof would only take a couple days to complete hoping this would fix all the leaks. The flat roofing product worked great and stopped all leaks on that part of our roof. Unfortunately, after the flat roof was completed, we still had leaking in the middle of our family room that Miguel determined was coming from our shingled roof.
However, just to be sure, Miguel and his father took the time to come out on a Saturday and spent more than 3 hours in our upstairs attics and bathroom to be sure no water was leaking in through these areas and be sure they covered all angles of where the leaks could be coming from. They did this on their own time with no extra charge.
Since the storms were so bad this year it was hard for them to find a 5-day dry period of time for such a large replacement of our shingled roof, but Miguel took the time to contact me after each rain storm and come out to rearrange our tarps to mitigate the damage to the inside of our house along with placing wet patch on the roof once the leak was located for no extra charge. Miguel was a total hands-on guy and explained every detail of the process. As we moved along Miguel provided options for repairs, roofing materials, gutters and other fixes that needed to happen along with answering my abundance of questions and he always returned my phone calls timely. He was much more of a “Good Neighbor” than my insurance company was! The roofing products that MAG Roofing had suggested were very sturdy and look great on our 2-story home. They had plenty of colors to choose from as well.
MAG Roofing was always on time to the job site, polite, completed what they said would be done for that day, kept us informed if anything unexpected came up and cleaned up every day before they left.
We worked very closely with MAG Roofing for months through the unprecedented storms in 2023 that I would recommend them and the GAF products used by MAG Roofing if you are looking for a roofing contractor without a second thought. MAG Roofing is a truly professional Contractor and care about their clients and they value the quality of their workmanship, attention to detail in every aspect along with the customer experience in wanting to provide a job well done!
In my opinion they were successful above and beyond!
